One of my favorite images from Thanksgiving!
My hundredth post! I thought I’d give you an idea of some of the things I carry around in my bag…
My 70-200 is one of my favorite lenses, but it’s heavy heavy. My 24-105 is near and dear to my heart, since it was the first of Canon’s L series that I got! I’ve got a 50mm, and a 100mm macro lens, which don’t get used as much as the others. My Quantum battery pack keeps my 580EX powered up, no matter how late the dancing goes. My Rebel is peeking out of the bag, but he’s getting traded in soon (as soon as the 5D Mark iii is announced!). The only things you don’t see on the left are the two that rarely ever leave my hand. My go-to, my favorite setup: My 5D Mark ii and my 35mm!
I will have to spend another whole day just sorting out my film collection before I can share those with you guys.
What kind of camera are you using? What’s your favorite lens?
This wedding was such a huge part of my life, that a month and some change later, I’m still thinking about it.
This morning, I used this great service to enable commenting on my blog. Now, you don’t have to have a tumblr account to leave me some love. You can even use your twitter login to leave comments!
I ‘m really excited about having comments enabled, because I’m going to have a contest starting December 1, that will rely mostly on reader comments! Please be sure to check it out, say hello, and tell your friends!
I just updated the site with Brittany and Zach’s Richmond wedding. Stop by and check it out! http://www.sarapendletonphoto.com. Thanks for everyone that stopped by the Facebook fan page this weekend. It was totally nerve-wracking for me to finally start a page for myself—what if nobody ‘liked’ it! Luckily, I have a lot of really great friends, who didn’t mind their arms being twisted a teensy bit. Please continue to share the fan page, I’m going to be announcing a contest on December 1st!
Natalie and John are up on www.sarapendletonphoto.com. Be sure to check them out! Also, my Facebook fanpage launched yesterday, and I’d love it if you’d ‘like’ it!
Sneak Peek! Just finished an engagement session with Natalie and John. I had so much fun with these two! Check back later for more of these two—I got some great shots of John’s “the Rock” face that you don’t want to miss!
Sneak Peak:
Last night Brittany and Zach got married at St. Bridget’s and then had their reception at the Science Museum of Virginia. I love love love the Science Museum: there are so many fun things to do and take pictures of there!
I have one wedding left in the season, and I’m getting excited about having a little down time… I’ve been working about 80 hours a week since April, so only working 40 each week in December will be a nice break.
Normally, I go to the state fair at least twice; last year I went 5 times! This year has been a little different, because I’ve been so busy. I only made it once, but it was still a lot of fun. I love seeing how much the biggest pumpkin weighs, watching the baby ducks go down the slide, and buying tacky wolf t-shirts. I didn’t get to ride the ferris wheel this year, so I have that to look forward to that next fall!
